Introductions-Ally

Ally is 11 years old, a straight "A" student, a softball player, and 'mother hen' to her little siblings. She is in her first year of middle school, and she is at an age where anything with bows or barettes is too 'babyish'. I have kept her hair at a manageable length for me, so every other year she gets a decent chop...maybe 3-5 inches. She doesnt want to cut her hair anymore, so I am going to respect that. Now we are working on gaining and retaining length, and coming up with styles that are easy on her sensitive scalp, but able to spend hours under a catcher's helmet and survive.

Introductions-The Princess

This is The Princess. She is 7 years old, and her hair is the biggest mistery to me. I have SUPER curly hair, maybe 3c with some 4b mixed in. Her father is a 4c, super kinky hair, very tight curls. This child's hair is straight! (ok, perhaps a bit wavy when wet.) I will have to post some pictures of her hair when it is down, its a lion's mane. But it keeps styles very well without frizz. I am even hesitant to type her hair, it is so different from anything I have even seen. Anywho, The Princess is currently into gymnastics, ballet, and barbie dolls. She collects money. Yes, money. And she loves her mommy more than anything in this world (awwww, total mommy's girl)

Introductions

This is my Li'l Bit. She is almost 4 (not that I'm rushing it), and is being home schooled right now, so she gets to stay home with mommy! :) This child is a make-mud-pies-in-the-rain-while-wearing-my-best-dress kind of gal. In other words, she is a tomboy with a pricess streak. (Or is it a princess with a tomboy streak?) Her hair is very tightly curled, and extremely thirsty. I estimate her hair to be 4b with some 4c....but the front and ends are more of a 3a.  Right now we wash her hair weekly, maybe every 10 days or so as long as there has not been any mud pie making going on! (Somehow, it always ends up in her hair?!) OH!! And my dog's ear is on the side of the screen. She didn't quite make it into the picture. :)
